The 23rd edition of the Gran Paradiso Film Festival – an international festival dedicated to nature cinema that takes place against the gorgeous backdrop of the Gran Paradiso National Park – is about to start in a renewed format which recovers time and space and adopts for the first time a hybrid modality, online and in presence.
In response to the ongoing sanitary emergency, the Festival – scheduled from July 28 to August 22 – will foresee outdoor events in the territory and a web Festival on a special online platform that will allow the audience to access most of the Festival contents. This new format will be an opportunity to share with a wider audience the main cultural event of the Gran Paradiso area and of the whole territory.
Common thread of the first appointments will be “The trilogy of the castles”. Those events will be held in peculiar sites of historical and artistic interest: the Municipalities of: Introd (July 28), Villeneuve (July 30) and Aymavilles (August 2). The Gran Paradiso Film Festival will continue in Rhêmes-Saint-Georges (August 18) and Cogne (August 21) and will end with a wide-ranging event at the Mine Village of Cogne on Saturday, August 22.
Further news and updates on the festival program will be announced during the press conference of July 24.
